I’m Helena Suba, astrologer and creator of Higher Realms Astrology.

I believe your birth chart isn’t here to tell you who you have to be or predict a life that’s already been decided for you. It’s a map—one that can help you understand your patterns, relationships, natural strengths, challenges, timing, and the deeper themes unfolding throughout your life.

My goal is to take astrology beyond vague horoscopes and turn it into something you can actually use.

Whether you’re navigating a relationship, questioning your direction, moving through a major life transition, or simply trying to understand yourself on a deeper level, astrology can give language to things you may have already been feeling but haven’t been able to fully explain.

Why Higher Realms Astrology?

Higher Realms Astrology was created to bridge the spiritual and the practical.

Yes, we’re looking at planets, houses, aspects, cycles, and timing—but we’re also talking about real life: love, work, family, purpose, decisions, emotional patterns, growth, and the experiences that shape who you become.

I approach every chart as its own story.

There is no one-size-fits-all interpretation because no two people experience their astrology exactly the same way. My readings are designed to help you see the larger patterns while still honoring your choices, experiences, environment, and free will.

I want you to leave a session understanding your chart—not feeling like you need to be an astrologer to decipher what you just heard.

My Spiritual Journey

My spiritual journey began in 2009, during an angel meditation with my best friend and her mother.

It was one of my first experiences consciously opening myself to spirituality, intuition, and the idea that there may be more happening around us than what we can immediately see or explain.

That experience stayed with me, even as life moved forward and my focus shifted into school, music, media, and building my career.

Then, in 2016, that spiritual side of me reawakened.

While working in radio, I met SarahSpiritual through her show, Spiritually Speaking with Sarah. Crossing paths with Sarah brought spirituality back into my life in a much deeper and more intentional way.

I began exploring spiritual development, intuition, symbolism, energy, and the larger patterns that connect our experiences.

That reawakening eventually brought astrology back into my life too—but this time, in a completely different way.

A Lifelong Student of Astrology

In many ways, my relationship with astrology started long before I ever thought of myself as an astrologer.

As a child, I was already fascinated by horoscopes and by the question of what it meant to be a Scorpio.

In the early days of the internet, I remember searching through websites trying to learn everything I could about Scorpio—its personality traits, strengths, weaknesses, relationships, and what being born under that sign supposedly said about me.

At the time, I thought that was astrology.

I had no idea how deep the rabbit hole actually went.

It wasn’t until around 2017 that I began discovering that astrology was so much more than a Sun sign or a daily horoscope.

There was a whole language behind it: the Moon, the Rising sign, planets, houses, aspects, transits, degrees, planetary cycles, timing techniques, and an entire birth chart filled with layers of information.

The more I discovered, the more I wanted to know.

By 2019, curiosity had turned into serious study—and I went all in.

For several years, I studied with an intensity that often meant spending 8 to 15 hours a day immersed in astrology.

I was reading, researching, comparing charts, studying planetary patterns, learning different techniques, following transits, examining real-life events, and constantly testing what I was learning against what was actually happening in people’s lives.

I didn’t want to simply memorize keywords or repeat surface-level interpretations.

I wanted to understand why a placement behaves the way it does.

Why does the same placement appear differently in two different people?

What happens when one planet modifies another?

How do houses, aspects, signs, rulerships, timing, and life experience change the way something manifests?

And how do dozens of individual pieces come together to describe one incredibly complex human being?

That is where astrology became much more than an interest for me.

I wanted to understand the system beneath the interpretation.

And I wanted to keep going deeper.

From Studying Charts to Reading People

By 2023, years of study began evolving into something increasingly hands-on as I started reading charts for clients.

Working with real people taught me something books alone never could:

Astrology comes alive in the details.

Every chart added another layer to my understanding.

Patterns became easier to recognize. Interpretations became more nuanced. I began seeing where traditional meanings held true, where they required more context, and how differently the same astrological signature could express itself depending on someone’s experiences, choices, environment, relationships, and stage of life.

Reading clients also strengthened something that had been developing throughout all those years of study: my ability to synthesize a chart rather than simply interpret one placement at a time.

I also began testing those skills in a much more spontaneous way.

At spiritual networking and meetup events, I would sometimes approach people I had never met and ask them only for their Sun, Moon, and Rising signs.

From those three placements alone, I would begin describing their personality, emotional nature, inner conflicts, tendencies, motivations, and the way different parts of themselves interacted.

It became almost like an astrological exercise for me.

Could I take only three pieces of information and begin seeing the person behind them?

Those experiences pushed me to trust my knowledge, sharpen my pattern recognition, and learn how to weave different astrological energies together in real time.

More importantly, they reinforced something I had already begun to understand:

A chart isn’t a list of placements.

It’s a conversation between them.

Always Learning, Always Evolving

One of the things I love most about astrology is that the deeper you go, the more you realize there is still more to learn.

I don’t believe an astrologer ever truly “finishes” studying astrology.

I continue to read, research, analyze charts, test techniques, examine planetary cycles, follow new developments, and refine the way I interpret what I see.

Every client teaches me something.

Every chart presents a new combination.

Every major transit gives us another opportunity to observe astrology unfolding in real time.

And as our ability to research and analyze information evolves, I believe the astrologer should evolve with it.

I embrace emerging technology, advanced research systems, and modern analytical tools that allow me to explore large amounts of information, compare patterns, examine timing, organize complex astrological data, and investigate questions more deeply than ever before.

For me, technology never replaces the astrologer.

It supports the process.

A tool can help uncover information, organize data, or expand the scope of research—but it cannot replace the years of study, pattern recognition, intuition, context, conversation, and human understanding that go into interpreting someone’s chart.

I see these tools as another evolution in how we can study an ancient system.

The goal is still the same one I had when I first started searching the internet to understand what it meant to be a Scorpio:

I want to understand more.

And the more I understand, the more I’m able to help someone else understand themselves.

That commitment—to continually learning, questioning, researching, refining, and evolving—is at the heart of how I practice astrology today.

My Background in Storytelling

Before stepping professionally into astrology, my world revolved around media and storytelling.

I’m originally from Long Island, New York, and my creative life started early through music. I played violin competitively before eventually finding my way into radio, television, film, photography, and digital media.

While studying media in college, I worked as a student photographer, hosted my own radio program, worked in radio, performed in a band, and graduated with honors as a member of the National Broadcasting Society.

From there, I built a career in video editing, directing, producing, and streaming media.

Looking back, those worlds aren’t as separate from astrology as they might seem.

Both are about finding the story hidden inside a collection of details.

In editing, hundreds of individual pieces eventually become one cohesive story.

I approach astrology in much the same way.

A birth chart may contain planets, signs, houses, aspects, degrees, rulerships, transits, progressions, and cycles—but none of those pieces exist in isolation.

My job is to see how they connect.

That is still one of my favorite parts of reading a birth chart: taking dozens of seemingly disconnected pieces and showing someone how they come together to tell their story.
